SLS provides AI-powered tools on this Site, including but not limited to a conversational legal term explainer, severance negotiation analyzer, and other interactive legal resources. These tools are designed to provide general legal information and education.
5.1 How AI Tools Process Your Data
- Text you submit to AI Tools is sent to our server, which forwards it to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. Your input is used solely to generate a response and is not stored by SLS after the session ends.

- AI Tools do not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information through AI Tools.
5.2 Open-Source Legal Tools
SLS may publish open-source legal tools, templates, calculators, and educational artifacts that are hosted on third-party platforms (such as Claude.ai). When you use these tools, the third-party platform’s privacy policy governs data collection on that platform. SLS does not receive or store data you input into third-party-hosted tools unless you voluntarily share it with us.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include HTTPS encryption, secure server infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
